SCOPE — please read

The MIT grant above covers the ORIGINAL work in this fork, namely:

  * the custom effects in src/custom/ (DSP, manifests, build scripts)
  * the browser tools in tools/ (patch editor, cover editor, serve_editor.py,
    apply_cover.py, the desktop audio-preview renderers)
  * the reverse-engineering notes in docs/ and the cover artwork in graphics/

It does NOT and cannot cover the following, which are owned by others:

  * Upstream toolchain. This repository is a fork of
    https://github.com/repeat98/ZoomMultistompZDL , which publishes no licence
    file. Absent a licence, that material is under its author's default
    copyright — all rights reserved. Anything inherited from upstream is used
    here on that basis, and the MIT grant above does not extend to it. If you
    intend to redistribute, ask that author.

  * Airwindows-derived DSP (src/airwindows/): MIT, Copyright (c) Chris Johnson
    / Airwindows. Its own terms apply.

  * Dustbox (src/custom/dustbox/): MIT, Copyright (c) 2026 Marcelo Fuentes,
    from https://github.com/marcfuentes/dustbox-zdl . Folded into this pack
    under its own licence, which is kept alongside the source at
    src/custom/dustbox/LICENSE. The DSP is unmodified; only the Power knob's
    default was raised from 1 to 50 so it is audible on select, matching this
    pack's convention.

  * Zoom firmware, stock effect binaries under stock_zdls/, decoded stock cover
    images, and the TI C6000 toolchain: owned by Zoom Corporation and Texas
    Instruments respectively. Not licensed here. They are referenced solely for
    interoperability and reverse-engineering research, and no Zoom or TI code
    is redistributed by this repository.
